Brandon Truscott– Artist Statement

Through the collection, deconstruction and assemblage of found objects, I create sculpture and installation. Rooted in design and technology, the works reference the industrial, informational and biological revolutions. The weathered parts of the mechanistic inventions convey a history of use. Like the Natural scientist who catalogues the past and searches for new discovery, I investigate antique and future impacts of technology on culture.
