Mary Farmer – Artist Statement

Landscape abstractions will take you beyond the usual renderings to place of greater contemplation; to enhance your exploration I add texture and depth for a more visceral impression.

Abstraction provides a direct relationship between you and me. Many times I note a physical response to my work, an overwhelming desire to reach out and touch the work. I relish that experience.
