Lois Epperson Gale – Artist Statement

My interest lies in nature and, in particular, the complexities, structures, and functions of the human body. The intricate relationship between internal and external environments is an endlessly fascinating resource.

I consistently explore and experiment with new mediums and techniques in the pursuit of seeing familiar forms and ideas from a new perspective. My interaction with the various substances creates an environment where I am able to think with my hands.
