Fanne Fernow– Artist Statement
My work is about a search for the holy or what Hans Hofmann would call, “the search for the real”. Using dots and circles in many forms, I use the idea of malas and mantras while I journey from the intellectual to the existential – from what I know to what I am – from my mind to my soul.
