Eileen P. Goldenberg- Artist Statement

The Array paintings are grid based with a comforting sense of order. The rich oranges, fiery reds, warm yellows, and clean whites that I love to work with resonate with the emotions I am expressing. I find that I come back to this palette time and time again. I love repetition, and find it very calming to create many similar, but not exact, forms. Each orb, interacting with a fluid background, is slightly different from the one next to her. This is similar to humans, even though we are genetically similar, we are all individuals.
